How Self-Inquiry Coaching Works: What to Expect Before, During, and After Your Session

Every session is an invitation to study yourself—to understand your energy, patterns, and purpose through awareness and reflection.
My work blends self-inquiry coachingFunctional Ayurveda, and intuitive insight to help you bridge the worlds of science and spirit.

All sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom, allowing us to connect from anywhere in the world. Distance does not diminish depth—this work transcends physical space, offering the same clarity, guidance, and presence you would experience in person.

Before the Session: Creating the Space

Preparation sets the tone for the insight you will receive. Think of it as opening sacred space for learning and integration.

  • Reflect: Write down any questions or themes you would like to explore.

  • Ground: Take ten minutes before we meet to breathe, stretch, or meditate.

  • Set Up: Have your notebook, pen, and water nearby.

  • Check Zoom: Ensure your sound and video are working so we can begin without distraction.

Arriving centered and open allows the energy to move clearly and the guidance that comes through to land deeply.

During the Session: The Four Steps of Enlightenment Pie

Each session follows my Four-Step Framework from Enlightenment Pie, designed to support you in releasing, connecting, discovering, and integrating new awareness.

1. Release

We begin by identifying what is currently arising—patterns, emotions, or areas of resistance. This awareness creates the foundation for energetic and emotional release.

2. Connect

Through breath and intention, we open sacred space together. I attune to your energy and higher wisdom, inviting clarity and perspective that reflect your current phase of growth.

3. Embolden

This is where learning and transformation unfold. I hold space, ask reflective questions, and share intuitive and functional insights to help you interpret what is arising through self-inquiry. The goal is not to “fix” anything, but to understand and integrate.

4. Integrate

We close with grounded steps you can take into your daily life—journaling prompts, contemplative practices, or Ayurvedic rituals that help you embody what you have learned.

After the Session: Integration and Continued Study

Within 7 days, you will receive a personalized integration email summarizing key insights and next steps. Your email may include:

  • A concise session recap and primary themes.

  • Self-inquiry questions for deeper reflection.

  • Suggested readings or practices drawn from my books and courses.

  • Recommendations for continued study or functional testing if relevant.

Integration is where insight becomes embodied wisdom. The follow-up email serves as a bridge between our session and your daily practice, helping you maintain momentum long after our time together.

Continuing the Work

Self-inquiry is an ongoing practice of awareness and alignment. Many clients continue their journey through my books, courses and immersions, or the Buddhist Biohacker Portal, where students and seekers share reflections and receive ongoing guidance.

When you are ready to deepen your understanding, I invite you to book a self-inquiry coaching session and begin exploring your own design with curiosity and compassion.
