Channeling the Sacred: My Journey with Spirit and the Sacred Council of Light

In 2005, I began a transformative journey into channeling—a practice that opened new doors of understanding and connection for me. Inspired by the book Opening to Channel by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer, I felt an undeniable pull to delve deeper into the mysteries of existence. My days were filled with meditation, deciphering Nostradamus’ quatrains, and exploring the realms of mysticism and the occult. The questions that haunted me—the shadowy figures in my doorway, the prophetic dreams—set me on a path to uncover the truths hidden within and beyond.

My practice soon became a part of my identity. In my red-painted office adorned with golden trim and hieroglyphs, I surrounded myself with cards, crystals, and a quiet determination to connect with the unseen. One night, amidst laughter with a dear friend, a new voice emerged—Aksun, my first guide. His words were clear and simple: “Trust heart, not mind. Always seek shelter in heart.”

That moment marked the beginning of a profound relationship. For two years, Aksun became my teacher, sharing wisdom about the nature of reality, health, and the interconnectedness of all things. Each session deepened my understanding of myself and the world, laying the groundwork for my work with the Sacred Council of Light.

Early Memories of Connection

Though my conscious memory doesn’t recall my earliest experience of channeling, my parents vividly recount a night when, as a four-year-old, I lay in bed speaking in a voice they didn’t recognize and in a language they couldn’t understand. Alarmed, they found me limp in a trance state, my words a mystery to them. While I don’t remember the event, its significance remains a thread running through my life.

My childhood was marked by moments of wonder and connection. I loved the sensation of flying in my dreams, something I later came to understand as astral travel. Denver’s summer rains brought rainbows that filled me with awe, and my father’s stories during our swims created a world of adventure and magic. These moments, rich in imagination and feeling, became touchstones for the spiritual journey I would later embark on with intent.

Reclaiming the Path

In 2007, years after my childhood experiences, I found my way back to the spiritual gifts I had set aside. Through meditation, I met my Master Guide, stepping into a space of light and feeling a joy I’d never known before. His presence affirmed the path I was on and the work we were meant to do together.

This experience marked the start of a dedicated practice. Over months, I developed my channeling abilities, first through automatic writing and later through direct communication. By January 2008, I channeled my guide for the first time, an experience that became the foundation of my life’s work as a medium and teacher.

The Evolution of My Mission

In 2020, my spiritual team expanded with the arrival of the Sacred Council of Light. Their mission—to foster compassion and unity—aligned perfectly with my own. Their teachings echo the wisdom of my guru, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, whose lessons on Bodhicitta, the compassionate heart, have shaped my understanding of love as the ultimate force for healing. Compassion, I’ve learned, is not just an idea; it’s a practice that asks us to see beyond division and to embrace even those we find challenging.

Drawing Inspiration from Princess Leia

As a child, I looked to Princess Leia from Star Wars as a figure of strength and wisdom. She wasn’t just a princess; she was a leader, a diplomat, and a voice of reason and courage. Leia’s ability to navigate conflict with intelligence and compassion inspired me then and continues to guide me now. Her example reminds me that leadership often means building bridges and holding space for unity.

In my work, I strive to embody these qualities. As a member of the Sacred Council of Light, I see my role as a bridge—connecting the seen and unseen, fostering understanding, and creating spaces where love and light can thrive. Diplomacy requires patience and the willingness to listen, and these values are central to my mission within the Buddhist Biohacker Portal and beyond.

Embodying the Mission

The work I do is about more than answers; it’s about creating space for questions, for connection, and for growth. Together, as members of the Buddhist Biohacker Portal community, we strive to embody the qualities that lead to ascension: humility, authenticity, and a commitment to love.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do know this: the heart holds a wisdom that the mind cannot grasp. My mission is to hold space for that wisdom to emerge, to advocate for non-violence, and to celebrate the connections that bind us all. As we walk this path together, may we find the courage to trust, to love, and to continue seeking the light.
